CBD oils have become quite the go-to source for natural health remedies. The only real issue that exists for those in the business is that none of the statements being made have been approved by the FDA. This may mean something to some and mean nothing to others, it doesn’t matter though. CBD oils are here to stay and the health benefits appear to be legit. There are claims of cancer-fighting compounds in the full spectrum extracts, there are CBD isolates that have helped epileptic patients reduce their seizure count to almost none, there are case studies that suggest CBD oils help with chronic fatigue, Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, TMJ, anxiety, and other stress-related symptoms.
The market has become large enough that there are now terpene infused CBD oils that can be produced to take on the flavour of your favourite foods or marijuana strains. Terpenes are naturally occurring and can be found in many plants and living organisms, infusing them into CBD oils and CBD edibles is a major part of this ever-growing industry. What we continue to learn about CBD products is that there is just as much demand for them as there are companies predicting the oils and edibles for the consumer market. The consumer market is definitely the primary source of business for distributors, but soon I believe we will see the medical industry begin to prescribe CBD oils and edibles to patients in need of pain relief and other healthcare treatments where CBD oils would be an effective means of treatment.
One issue medical practitioners have with prescribing the oil is that it’s not FDA-approved, even though many understand the benefits of its use, they are bound by ridiculous laws and government intervention. Some states still haven’t legalized CBD oils, meaning that people in need of the medicinal value it provides are having to either move out of state or find ways to acquire it illegally. Some people are using supplements like Kratom to ease anxiety and other stress-related health issues. This poses a problem for both the patient seeking treatment and the healthcare provider administering medicine. CBD oils have so many benefits and people in need are moving to states where CBD is available to treat their illness. Thanks to terpenes, producers of CBD oils can reintroduce terpenes after the extraction process to add flavour profiles back into the oils so consumers that need to take the oils for medical reasons can enjoy the flavour while consuming them.
